The easiest method to install IPA is to install AppSync (from Cydia) in your iOS, then to add the downloaded IPA file to iTunes and simply sync your device. But many of our visitors frequently asking, if it is possible install IPA (.ipa) files directly on iOS! without using PC/Mac iTunes!. here are 3 methods to do that!
These methods are applicable to any iOS firmware/device (iPhone 3G/3GS/iPhone 4/iPhone 4S/iPhone 5, iPod Touch 3G/4G/5G, iPad/iPad 2/iPad 3/iPad 4/iPad Mini)
Method 1: Install with iFunBox
Requirements:
- Jailbroken iDevice
- iFunBox
- AppSync “you can get AppSync from Insanelyi Source , SinfuliPhone“
Method:
- Download iFunBox from Here
- Install iFunBox on your PC/Mac
- Connect your iPhone/iPod/iPad and run iFunBox
- Click Intall App from iFunBox toolbar
- Select the file you want to install (*.ipa)
You Are Done
Method 2: Install with Safari Download Manager/AppAddict
Requirements:
- Jailbroken iDevice
- AppAddict ”download it from http://www.appaddict.org/app/, use iOS Safari to install“
- AppSync “download it from Insanelyi Source , or SinfuliPhone“
- Safari Download Manager
Method:
- Download the “ipa” file, using Safari
- Once done, open the file in AppAddict
- Install the file using AppAddict
You Are Done 
Method 3: Install with iFile/Safari Download Manager/Installous
Requirements:
- Jailbroken iDevice
- Installous “download it from Insanelyi Source“
- AppSync “download it from Insanelyi Source“
- Installous Alive
- Safari Download Manager
- iFile
Method:
The idea is to download the file (.ipa) with iDevice Safari (using Safari Download Manager), then to transfer the file (.ipa) to Installous downloads folder, then you can install it with Installous
- Start Safari, go to the webpage which contains the wanted game/app (.ipa) and start the download
- When finished >> Open in iFile
- iFile will take you to the needed folder = /User/Documents >> Click right upper tab (edit) >> Tick the downloaded file >> Click right lower tab (cut/copy)>> Click Cut >> Click right upper tab (Done)
- Open Installous folder (from the same window) >> open Downloads folder inside Installous = /User/Documents/Installous/Downloads
- Inside Downloads folder >> Click right upper tab (edit) >> Click right lower tab (paste) >> Click Paste>> Click right upper tab (Done)
- Run Installous now >> Click Downloads >> You will find your file (without thumbnail) >> Click your file >> Install >> You Are Done

Featured Cydia Lists:
This ifile method I’ve been using all along…
1. Click file’s blue arrow into Attributes and add ‘execute’ permission to ‘User’
2. Rename file extension from ‘eg123.ipa’ to ‘eg123.app.zip’
3. Move file to /var/stash/applications folder
4. Click file and choose ‘Unarchiver’ then wait for files to unzip
5. Scroll down apps list to refresh then RESPRING device
6. After respring go to /var/stash/application/payload
7. Inside Payload will see yr 123.app
8. Cut the whole 123.app folder and PASTE it in /var/stash/application together with the other apps folder
9. Scroll to refresh list and RESPRING device again
10. Done! (Make sure to respring TWICE during the whole installation)

Hi, very good toturial indeed mate! Well maby installous is down but you can easly use him for instal all ipa’s! Just simply download ipa on PC then use iFile to connect ipod via Wifi , go to installous download folder (like in this toturial) and run installous. Go to download and voila!!! You can easly instal your IPA:)

I have downloaded WhatsApp. But, it says “IPA ERROR”, what do I do? The files which used to work before with the error now it says Ipa error! Any help?
Installous is Dead! Another method is IPA installer from cydia it has its own file browser real simple and clean also safari download manager of course and your set u can download and install all ipa directly on the ipa never a pc involved in the process. If u really want to locate and edit move copy the file that u downloaded u need ifile there is a cracked version in cydia. The file browser in IPA installer is purely for locating a file and start installation.
But it needs ticket.. Serial number
Do you mean for IPA installer? It doesnt need anything it asks you to donate you dont have to just press later and your in. If you mean ifile there is also a cracked version of ifile no ads all functions etc.
IPAinstaller does not work for me… It needs serial number via ticket registering in the web.. Ticketing page is 404 now..
You need version 2.07 or higher!

1-install AppSync from Cydia.. Use one of Cydia sources in our list
2- download the apps from this blog the add it to iTunes and sync your device
1. Open cydia. —-> Manage —-> Sources—–>Edit——>Add—–> cydia.iphonecake.com/ ——> After all of that is done, the source will be added.
2. Click on the iphonecake.com source. And download AppSync for the particular ios you have.
3. Now, to download the apps, go to iphonecake.com (from your pc or laptop) Search for the game you want. Download it.
4 You must have itunes to proceed. So if you don’t, download it from apple.com/itunes/ .
5. After the app has finished downloading on your pc, go to iTunes—>File—->Add file to Library. You would find the app or game you downloaded there. The file has been added to the library. Connect your iDevice. You would see the iDevice you have. For eg. – iPod. Click on that. Now you would say a row which starts which Summary, Apps, Music, etc. Click on Apps. There would be a search box to find your app. Enter the name. Click on the result. Click on Install. And then click on sync/apply. And you will be done.

The first method does not work on my iPhone 3G with iOS 6.1… I downloaded 2 ipa apps, Facebook and Angry Birds Rio, and none of them gets installed correctly. When I want to install them in iFunBox it says it’s 100% done, then it says installation failed. They say the solution is to install AppSync but I do have AppSync for 5.0+ (that’s the newest verson in Cydia). Maybe iOS 6 is not compatible with this?
it is comparable 100%, try to install IPA with itunes

In other words i have a 4tb hard drive I want to plug in my iPad a copy data a least like iTunes dose on a pc (for I see apple blocked you and give you no option to copy into iPad without iTunes when you right click in the window when you open ipad from “my computer” it shows all the options besides copy paste!)
I was told that copying without iTunes bring virus to your device so if there is a app that can copy direct in to iTunes it would be great!

You can download ( downloads ) program from installous , it’s have direct link with Safari , when you working in Safari just one link it will take you to downloads program then you can download what you need then use iFile to move it any where you need , it’s working well I use downloads HD for my iPad2 iOS 5.0.1 it’s great way to download apps and music ….. etc
Since the Safari Download Manager doesn’t work on iOS 5, a good alternative would be the Atomic Web Browser.
